I was really interested in their amps, I think they sound fantastic, especially the mzero. As I was going down the research hole I came across this - Mezzabarba Trinity - Ground loop hum, safety issues

I was pretty bummed out honestly. This was exactly the kinda sound I was looking for. I could go stock Soldano, but the Mezza has an aggression that I dig

Anyone know is Mezza has addressed these issues? Something like this is scary enough to put me off but maybe I'm being overly cautious?

You can read their response in the comments of that video, anyway i wish someone could explain better the issue, because eng is not my language... for my understanding, you could have a problem with that amp if the input jack is totally disconnected from the chassis, so i wonder how you can connect a cable if that happen...

I did read their response, but the follow-ups to their response seemed to indicate that it is not a good response?

I'm not technical either, I'm just going by Jason's video since he is a renowned builder that not grounding the amp properly makes it unsafe to use (he mentions in the video). That makes me concerned about the safety of the amp, if they missed this, could there be other safety issues.

He posted this video is the SLOclone forum, and he said his SLO clone sound exactly like the the Trinity 😉😉
You could buy an amp from him.
Oh that's great, is that alta? I would definitely be curious

Can I assume this applies to the Mzero as well? If so, is it really an issue? I mean, Eric Steckel tours with one...

Everything I've heard from guys who've owned these amps, they consider them to be stellar. SLO meets modded Marshall. Build quality is supposed to be top notch...unless that's changed i.e. outsourcing the build or partial build. I hope that's not the case.

As far as I'm aware, Pierangelo builds everything in house.

My MZERO OD and Trinity amps are among my absolute favorite amplifiers, if not my #1 (always depends on the day, LOL)

I can't say I've had any grounding issues with mine. It's been nothing but smooth sailing since I received both amps. I sold the MZERO just because it was redundant to have both, but man what an amp.

I also had the Skill 30 and that thing was a little monster as well. I'd actually love to own one again because it's one of the best small form factor amps I've played.

I thought you kept the mzero and sold the trinity...

How is the mzero Steckel different from the mzero? I'm interested in what I'm hearing from the mzero but it's not available anywhere, there is an mzero Steckel for sale near me.

I mostly play metal and some fusion

I guy had an M-Zero for sale awhile back at a great price and I've always wanted one but when I talked to him he claimed it was just a SLO ripoff and no big deal . I have an SLO 100 and it's my least played amp . I would like to try the M-Zero but I kind of have the redundancy creeps.

I do think the design is based on an slo, there are comparison videos on YouTube as well

That's because they are basically SLO clones with different transformers and some bells and whistles depending on the model.

I do believe they added a safety ground in newer amps but the fact that they shipped product without them at any point is really disturbing,

I agree this is my dilemma, whatever changes they made, give it a tone I really like but I'm Disturbed by the fact they shipped it without proper grounding in an unsafe way. Part of me wonders if there are other safety concerns

That's you you should buy an amp with a drink/fire extinguisher holder built in

I’ve owned one- not my personal sound but they are good at what they do. That being said, a dealer claimed that mezzabarba wouldn’t allow them to sell their amps if they also sold redseven. Super scummy move imo, and worth keeping in mind. Redseven isn’t the same at all so it’s just them being dickheads
