Yeah man, I know the golden ear crew hates them but they just work for me… and 98.6% of the rest of the guitar playing world.

I love my cabs and mics, I just don’t have the opportunity most of the time to be able to use them for recording and I’m ok with that.

I’m curious what the differences are between the xd 100XD and the Scalpel because Tonewars made a comparison between the XD100 and 5150 Stealth and the 100XD sounded way better - but - the Tonewars guy usually makes his amps sound like they are overly boosted like a cocked wah and I don’t think his 2x12 is the best representation of amps

So I have a demo I’m editing of the XD100 prototype as we speak. It’s slightly different than the one Tone Wars had as mine didn’t have the Focus control but it’s more Marshall-esque. Not as hairy in the gain as the Scalpel. Bigger bottom as well.

The two amps definitely have their own things going on. Hoping to have that vid up by Wednesday.
