That being said, I think the grand experiment ends, it's just a matter of how. Two options as I see it. National divorce would be preferable, but it ain't gonna happen. Too much money in the hands of the elite at stake for that. That leaves either violent revolution or being invaded by a capable super power resulting in a quasi "Red dawn" situation.

Yeah, I don't really like any of the options outside of people pulling together.

Interesting how there was a time when people flocked to the big cites because that is where the jobs went. But then those jobs were either eliminated via modern production or moved overseas. Couldn't chase those jobs. Someone had to step in and provide support for all of these people. Now people are moving out of those big cities but only those that can afford to move will. Further class division.

Unless we pull together as a nation in the next few election cycles we're fucked unfortunately. :dunno:

Their Citizens are are dysfunctional and their state is looking like parts of bombed out Ukraine .... Mobile, Alabama and Gary Indiana ..... Jackson, Mississippi .... those people look great living in squalor and wearing their crown of royal shitdom with such MAGA PRIDE
