Anybody use the Digitech RP1000 with 4CM? They seem to have a handle on the tone suck issue. Rp1000 looks pretty robust effects wise.

But digitech gsp1101 has no suck no loss I flip it to bypass n Hagen sounds the same. I only use for fx
There is a video explaining why there is no tone loss something to do w 12 v rails.

Correct isn't RP1000 same design basically in a floor model?

Idk that answer. Just know gsp works great! Maybe they r different ?

So is the concensus that the pod hd pro is a tone sucker ? That is using it only for fx no amp modeling.

Report ASAP plz !!!
So running it through my Mk V it seems to only let me use clean tones on all 3 channels so I will have to read up on that. It does darken the tone and is not transparent like the Axe II, so far.

I will check it later with my xtc later but I have to run out and get some crown molding for a job and paint it.

What about if you switch the loop off on the Mesa when not using effects?

It kills the sound altogether because you're running through the front of the amp and the back of the amp at the same time
