I confirm. Saw them live in 2003 and he was using a Vetta. Awesome showI think Michael Romeo used Vettas at one point, years ago.

The HD147 is tempting because they only go for like $350 or so on the used market now. They had a bigger power section than the Vetta, or something, but fewer models. Supposedly they were quite capable…
I've owned a few of these, and two of them were DOA.Unfortunately no, It doesn't work with a 9v battery, only with an adapter and I have clean signal passing to my amp with the pedal but it's dead as soon as I engage it, so back to GC it goes.
Had the Uber Metal for a while...like others said, pretty fun at home, but never used it live. I already tried that in my late teens with a Metalzone and a Peavey Bandit.
Likewise I had good fun with a Zoom Driver 5000. One of the settings...I forgot Stack 2 or combo 112, was ultra ripping, ultra high gain.

one of the great channels ever. cutting and brutal. i have the Line6 Uber Metal pedal that has it, makes even the shittiest amps kick ass. im gonna bust it out again after seeing this video that popped up in my feed, i love it
