From an M13 and MOD50 owner:
One of the best things about the M13 is the switching within banks. Since there are 3 "locations" for each engine, it's one click to switch beteen effects in the same bank (eg: to switch quickly between an OD and a distortion does not require turning one off, then the other on - as long as they are in the same bank).
The TC is a great sounding unit with excellent loop options, etc. - but it costs 2.5 times as much as the M13 and is much larger. The Nova is a more comparable unit... TC quality in general is better IMHO. I know guys at both companies, and I went with the M13 for versatility and choice of more effects (no vibe on the Nova).
It really depends on what you're after (do you like the Line6 effects? Are you OK running AC power to the front of the stage? etc...)
If I can find the time next week I'll post pics of the custom snake I use for the m13 to get rid of that #^%@$#! brick in the middle of the power cord... it also powers my wah. Everything (including the Eggie footswitch) fits nicely in a Line6 bag.
