i remember wearing out this cassette when i was a kid. what an underrated song with an epic solo. watching the video now 30+ later is kind of trippy, its like literally everything going on today with the VR, facial editing shit to your liking, zoom calls with the band playing, like wtf lol

Saw them 8 years ago. Great great show and Steven hit all the notes even on dream on👍

I fuvking love this song . Joes best playing ever . The Perm Vacation /PUMP/Getagrip trilogy is just the best pop rock in history . It’s like super pop

crazy, cryin' amazing.....that was formulaic so so.

I liked What It Takes. I used to argue with a guy who said Dream On was the masterpiece and even though he might've been right I didn't like the Tyler shrieking at the end.. I don't thin What It Takes had the Desmond Child touch of the crazy crying amazing era which I could live without. Those are almost the same song three times, lol.

Nothing wrong with bowing out on top and enjoying the fruits of their decades of labors. They earned it. Great band and I always enjoyed Joe Perry's tone and playing.

Two different bands
Some bands are somehow able to pull off that ‘rebirth’. ZZ Top and Yes are two others…and VH to a degree as well. I was a huge Aerosmith fan in the 70s. A band that imo was greater than the sum of its parts.

Maybe I’m old and jaded but I HATED the whole Desmond Child era compared to their past material, which was way more hard rockin and brilliant IMO.
The 70s era is where it’s at for me too but I do like a lot of stuff on PV and Pump and they were great in concert after they sobered up

Saw Aerosmith live a few times;, back in the day, before their first breakup; the first time at the Palace Theatre in Waterbury, CT, Draw the Line tour.

They had a great run, and know when to retire unlike many other bands that don't.

To end with all five original members that have gone thru drugs, cancer, vocal issues, etc. is an amazing feat. Some of these bands that swap out players and lose the magic, then wonder what happened, should take note.

I was at their final show, the band sounded great for their age and the setlist was awesome imo, nice production too, it was also joe perrys birthday that night, nobody knew steven messed up his throat till the show was over, he gave it everything he had and when they postponed the tour i figured a year later they would resume, sucks for the people who didnt get to see them last year, they only got 3 shows into the tour, i was hoping they would play the remaining shows this year. Theres a bunch of pics and videos on my ig.
