Love Loudness! Love Akira even more! I saw the 85’ tour opening for Motley as well. Killer live band. Just wanted to chime in.

Saw that tour as well, it was killer. Also saw them in a small club in Detroit, some reunion deal In early 2000’s. He was using 2 DSL hallf stacks and a Boss multi fx unit. Sounded good, his playing not so good. Doubt he was practicing much by then.
