Loudness when playing at home

Just above loud TV volumes through two 4x12s. If late at night or in the living room, I play my mini 5150 through a 1x8” on the 1W setting to keep the volumes low. I love my setup both large and small. I’d like to get a power soak to run my amps hotter without increasing room volume. Not wide open, but above what loud TV volume provides now.

low TV volume for practice and low sensitivity speaker (G12-65) 1x12. I don't understand using plug-ins, personally. They sound and feel like cheapest modelling combos and absolutely ruin sound of guitar. I tried Neural, Fortin etc.. but they still fell like shit compared to whatever decent non-digital.
Earplugs ? When You spend thousands dollars and infinitive hours of testing on top-tier cab, amps, pedals, guitars, pickups and kill it with earplugs :) :)

I like to turn the amp up to the point where it‘s done ‘filling out’ if you know what I mean. With my 50 watt Splawns, the sound really fills out around 2 on the master - and that’s a pretty solid stage volume. In the smaller venues, any louder than that and the sound man is asking you to turn down so he can put more guitar through the mains. My daily practice is either no amp, or a little solid state job parked under the end table by the sofa.

I play 100 watt tube heads with 2 412 cabinets at absolute whisper volumes with my Boss TAE. At whisper volumes my tone still sounds huge ala EVH VH1/2 as a reference.
