Lynch really is badass

He was a monster in 1984. I would hope playing hours per day for 40 plus years would sharpen his skill......lol
The man is 70 years old.....I'd say just being able to play at this level at that age including the last ten years or so is nothing more than remarkable.

Everyone has off days and the fact that he is such a prolific gig musician still out there grinding a living out of it says alot.:dunno:

I saw Carlos Montoya when he was 81 or so years old........mind blowing.

So age isn't an issue for some???

Edit: Can totally understand and sympathize with those who develop arthritis, etc...

I saw Lynch a couple months ago when he came through town. Incredible player! He played his “lynchburst” tiger guitar for the whole show. His singer had pipes too!

When he is on I love the guy! Agree with most that the low gain, Jeff beck vibe is not his bag.

I've seen him five times. I love that he goes for it head first every time. When it works, it's one of the best live guitar players you will see. When it doesn't work, he's fighting it and it's sloppy and haphazard.

Still, he's the reason I started to play.
