Personally, I avoid news outlets that favor a particular political party and/or candidate. OAN use to be an objective source... In 2015, the CEO of OAN decided to commit his resources to supporting a single political candidate, all others be damned. It was at that point that I tuned-out. Same goes with CCN's favoritism to their guy. There is so much to this, that it cannot be unpacked without in-depth historical review.Tons of truth to this.
BUT, how do you and I determine which outlets are part of it and which may still have some independence?
I say Newsmax and OAN are shit and Rueters is pretty good.
Panny says Rueters is lies and Newsmax and OAN broadcast the truth.
So, personally speaking, how do you tell the difference?

Try to hit up all of the front pages of as many outlets as I can, including other countries.
Pretty much all of the well developed ones have an English version of their daily news.

balanced daily assessment of the state of the US and our friends and enemies.
Saw this this morning and it make me long for those days again.

Agreed.Bet you a million bucks we agree on a hell of a lot more things than what we disagree on.
Both yearning for the days of Cronkite and Brinkley pretty much guarantees it.
