I used to have a whole routine around getting Marshall cabs up to par. I'd ditch the switch because that board fries amps and wire in a regular jack, and rewire it with good wire and solder. I'd tighten all the screws, and seal the gaps between the handles with an electrical tape gasket. I would get the back to fit tighter with electrical tape too. Once you get those cabs hardwired and sealed, they're just as good as any other cab. They get so much more snappy and tighter sounding. View attachment 373736
