Man, I'm REALLY NOT diggin' these V30s with my Einstein!

Strange, I love my Einstein, even when it's "just barely on" as the kids like to say nowadays.

Have you tried cranking the master and using the channel volumes as a pseudo master? Try that and see what happens, to me it really thickens up the tones especially at super low volumes.

Good idea. Try that!

Also, I noticed you're using EMG's? I'm partial to NOT using active pickups. I just think the sound is more natural that way. That way you aren't using the pickups to drive the amp as much...BUT some people prefer that sound. I just like the way the amp reacts to say...a '57 Classic or Burstbucker instead. Just my opinion!

If you don't have another type of humbucker (passive), you could try using your Edwards or Yellow strat and roll the tone knob down just a hair...still sounds thick without too much bite/quack.

Once again, some of this is preference, but it might help anyway.
