I cannot find one online at all. I can find the manual for the KH Reverb and KH2, but not the original KH55.

Rivera says if I buy new tubes from them they can match and I wont have to open it up to rebias. But I'll spend probably $60 bucks more for the set.

If I buy my own tubes, then I'll need the correct manual so I can rebias it correctly myself. And I'll save approx $60 bucks getting the tubes from Dougs, plus whatever I save by not taking it to a tech. I dont want to assume the KH Reverb or the KH2 has the same bias settings. I have the tools, but need the correct info.

Anybody have a manual for this thing?

they are the same at least get in the ballpark,, all my riveras pall told me have such a wide variance due to using 6l6 or el's in them:)
Hope that helps.

In other words, as long as I use the settings for the correct tubes that I put in, I should get close enough using the info from any of the KH manuals?

That would be nice, would make it easier for me to pull the trigger on a set from Doug's. I'll go with the EL34's, Doug's is stocking the SED's right now, doesn't have any of the Svetlana.

If you can do a week or two without the amp, you could also send your old tubes to Doug and I'm pretty sure he will send you a matching new set, so no bias needed (assuming the bias was set right on the old ones). Check up front via email with him.

But you won't need a manual to bias the amp, just know how to do it in general, biasing is the same on most amps.

That's an excellent idea, I'll eamil him and ask. Thanks!

If Doug can do that, then it should work out. The amp has the original Rivera factory (Svetlana) tubes in it, still works and sounds fine after all these years. I suppose I should send him the entire set, not just the power tubes?

Doug's Tubes feeling is that if the tubes are too old and used then there is not much point in it. It's much better to match new tubes.

Maybe I should just buy the power tube pair from Rivera, then let Doug match them so I can get a fresh spare pair at the same time. I'm thinking the preamp tubes are not as critical when it comes to matching.
