Anybody have any experience with this cab - what did you think?

I had one... sounds like a greenback cab should, no worries

The older ones from the early 90s are somewhat sought after....the first GB reissues with the 6402 cones. I had a classic cab from 2001; and it sounded darn near identical to an early 90s cab...the 2001 had H1777 cones.
Nice sounding cabs; they resemble the 74 cream backs I had to my ears. Better than the MiC GBs from the 2010s.

Seller told me he thinks it's from the mid 2000's.

The Chinese GBs, sound a little hairier and congested compared to the English versions. Some prefer them though. I like the English versions best.
I think those cabs always came with the British versions.

Great cabs. Honestly I've owned 70's cabs, 80's cabs (still got my old slant) and early 2000's, they all sounded good to me. In fact my early 2000's was a workhorse, wished I hadn't sold it when downsizing as those 75's sounded great. And I generally dislike 75's. In fact my old 80's has the vented 75's and I don't like them as much.

I had a mid 90's unit when they still had the English greenbacks. It was a really good, beefy sounding cab and definitely better than some of the cheaper cabs I tried over the years. The only problems I had was I rolled it a lot over some rough parking lots and a couple of the wheels eventually gave way. I had to plug the pulled out holes and use some longer screws. Through- bolts would probably be best. Also, my cab had plastic recessed handles with the hand grab that rotated round and round for comfort when you carry it. In a studio I had to tape them to stop them turning and making nose that was picked up by the mics. It was audible but a little duct or gaff tape fixed the problem. I don't play 4x12's anymore but I would definitely give a thumbs up to that cab. Great piece of gear.

I got a very clean one for $400 on the local CL a while back. I ran it very hard and eventually blew two of the GBs. I replaced them and sold the cab, as I needed more wattage to handle a 100w head that really puts out over 130w.

Same thing as the contemporary AX, just different grill cloth.
