I think they are a great value used; for not much cash I’d grab one of these over an EVH. But ultimately tone matters, and there isn’t one Marshall that I’ve owned that a DSL would replace. I know guys have toured with them; and sound good. But, if money/supply was no object, would they tour with DSLs or 2203s? Vintage JMPs? The DSL would be far from the first choice, all things being equal.
