...unpopular maybe...but i love the Soldanos...based primarily on amp models/plugins/captures/what i hear in online clips, etc. never played the "real deal". surely you'll have some ripping clips coming our way?? :)

I imagine @scottosan will have some ToneNerd pups over sometime this week to put through it.
We'll def have some clips.
I made this quickie when I got it home:

Just put a mic up to my 2x12. Was thinking, how am I going to go about making the SLO tight enough for metal riffage.
This is straight in, OD channel, gain at noon:

Congrats dude it sounds great!

One thing a SLO will do is make anyone playing it a better musician. Unlike a lot of amps a SLO has a lot of gain on tap but it’s not gain you can hide behind - they’re crystal clear and respond well to picking dynamics. They also take pedals well.

Don’t forget to play with preamp tube choices to make it sound how you like. Congrats on the NAD!

Thanks man! I have some tasty old 12ax7s to play with, Mullard, RFT, Amperex, Yugo EI...
But for now I'm geeking out on the tone. Just blew 20 minutes with the Suhr Modern.
It's righteous.

I wish I could find someone close enough to me willing to swap an SLO for my Plexi halfstack. I'd love to have one some day.
