Awesome tone dude! I think the speakers are a big part of the early Metallica tone too.

did they use 65s on RTL?

I actually think it was G12T-75's on RTL. When I was speaking to Flemming about it, he mentioned it was cabs they had borrowed and they were 300W Marshall straight cabs which pretty much just leaves 75's for that era. The same cabs were used on MOP. They switched to V30's for AJFA and forward.

Really? Wow that is surprising. I guess I didn't realize how long 75s have been around.

It's natural reverb... :D We rent our practice space at a climate controlled storage facility. I was standing slightly outside the door, so the camera is picking up the reverb/echo from the hall.
 
Either way it was a GREAT sounding clip!!!
Need to send my next Marshall out to Dave to get the Kitchen sink mod!! :rock:
