I bought a like new 2016 2203x for $1399 a few mos. ago, just before the big price drop. I figured I'd enjoy it for a month or so and then maybe flip it for a nice profit. I got out of it for a $175 profit in a local CL sale. But I was expecting to make lot more before that price cut. If Marshall would reissue the JMP classics (1976-80) with good transformers for a reasonable price, there'd be no stopping them.
