About time. The real question will be if they actually use the original circuit.

Supposedly, and built in UK. Not sure parts they sourced in the late 80's are still readily available though, so we'll see.

I'm actually surprised the price isn't much higher than $249. That makes me somewhat skeptical, since most of their UK-made amps are an arm and a leg.

Check out the Sweetwater demos if you want to throw up in your mouth!
(also see if you can spot the not-Sweetwater demo)

Jesus fucking christ Sweetwater come on. You’re better than that.

I had the Guv'nor pedal (but the silver one) and always really liked it. It was stolen some years ago at a gig. $249 seems a bit high to me for a re-issue...but I will check them out if I see one in the wild.

I used to like tones I got from a Shredmaster I modded. I remember the schematic. nothing crazy in there and fairly minimal components. Should be the same design I would think

The guys at Andertons said they sourced every part from the original manufacturer with the exception of two. Damn if I can remember which two but they got the equivalent part from somewhere else.

I had a Guvnor back in the 80s when they came out. Great pedal. I gave it to a buddy thinking I wouldn't miss it. Wrong. I think I'll get a replacement.

Well, you can still pickup Korean guvnor's on ebay for under 200$ so price point could be argued. Assuming these are made in China meaning my Korean version has more mojo for 100$ less. Cool that they are reissuing it in the original style box vs the 2nd version they put out in the late 90's /2000's though. The DOD 250 is also coming back so watch out all you bums trying to get 300$ for your 12 component early 2000 DOD reissues! These are the reissue of the reissue of the reissue's reissue. They are going to be absolute screamers.( again)

Or that left handed British guy. God, that guy is so cringe.

That guy is absolute garbage... I get that he loves amps and loves Marshall but I can't sit through him playing anymore Randy Rhoad's licks ( who he met as a kid and likes to mention).
