"Colored person" vs. "The great N". Lol

But in this scenario, he was talking about “the negro league”, not referring to a black person as a negro.
Just like it’s ok to say NAACP but calling someone a “colored person” is sort of frowned upon. “Person of color”? Sure

The way I see it, someone only calls someone a “colored person” if they are
A) not sure what “color” they really are
B) trying to be polite
C) my grandmother

So I’m just saying if someone is choosing option B, then they should know it’s not as polite as the think it is.

If it’s because of option C) then I’m sorry Gram, but Tiger woods is golfing again and you need to accept that

...and "person of color" or "people of color"? what color? I prefer "colored person" or "colored people", one less syllable to say.

He literally called the man "The Great N" before referring to the "N League"..I don't know why this is so hard to understand...Lol

I say this assuming you are not a person of color, but in the current social climate, “colored person” isn’t as acceptable as it used to be.
When it boils down to it, intent is really what matters, but I still stand by my previous explanation of why I brought it up

That’s because he’s a terrible speaker. He might be pretty racist too, but in that case he just stumbled over his words

He was backtracking. He paused at an unfortunate moment. After saying “the great negro” he stopped to try and explain that “at the time”, meaning at the time, it was referred to as the negro league. It’s not like he’s going full petard.

Why does it have to be about Biden v Trump? Are you just assuming I voted for a Biden? If you are, you would be wrong
Well according to you people prefer this vs. Trump, so yeah it does. Most popular President in history, no doubt...Lol

How did I imply that? I very simply stated that if someone is using the term “colored people”
because they think it is being polite, then they are mistaken. It wasn’t Joe Biden that decided that

You ain't black

He never said it was polite, you came here and said it wasn't. All I'm doing is pointing out the hypocrisy from the most popular President in history. Everyone in Detroit voted for him you know...Lol

This is what I said. Why you brought Biden in to it is not on me

You're crying about someone using the phrase "colored people" when the most popular President in history (21st century no less) has said much worse. It isn't hard to understand...Lol
