Mesa/Boogie 90s Dual Rectifier - Official trailer

OH. FOR. FUCKS. SAKE. Apparently, Gibson hasn't learned one fucking thing from the Mark IIC+ rollout debacle. COME ON, CESAR! WTF?!

Ugh, so you think the mic should be pointed at the speaker?! Of a 4x12 cab?! So we can actually hear **gags** detail and clarity in the highs?

Don't you know anything about good Blues tone?

There's a LTD ed stealth recto local to me for 1500$, it sucks no one is buying anything right now or else i'd buy it and show gibson how to mic amplifiers

I think I am done with Gibson and Mesa new products.

I dunno, considering how the IIC+ Reissue thing went down, as well as the Mark VII press campaign before it, I think it's safe to say that Gibson's official demos give us less than zero useful info in any direction, good or bad.

If the usual suspects get it and still can't make it sound good, that's another story. But for now I remain fairly convinced the Recto Reissue is gonna be a good amp.

However I did raise an eyebrow pretty hard when that video talked about the Recto Reissue's "improved clean channel" because that shit could impact the Orange Modern mode, which worries me because the Orange Modern mode is easily as good and just as important as Red Modern on those amps, worth the price of admission alone. If they screw up Orange Modern so help me.

Mesa’s official manufacturer demos are terrible, but so are most other manufacturers. Rarely do I run across one that I like.

What they should all do is send them out to well known producers and engineers and pay them to make demos. Send a C+ RI to Bob Rock. Drop a Recto RI or Snorkler in the mail to Joe Barresi. Etc.

Making some 🍿 now..

The thing about the C+ RI is if I didn't have OGs, I would be proud to have a RI. However, I have OGs so....

I've gone & sold all my Rectos so the Recto RI is more interesting to me. I could get a Triple MW that's about a month old for $2K so that's the comparison. Otherwise a good F would be a pretty similar price to a RI.
