Hello, new to this forum. I was hoping for some info on a Dual Rectifier solo head I've had sitting in my storage unit for 30+ years. It has a serial number of R0227. It looks in pretty mint condition. I'm a drummer (hold jokes please) and am not sure where to list it, Reverb, eBay on a forum like this etc. Thank you for any suggestion and help.

What an incredible amp.

Revision C rectifier I believe based on that serial (can confirm if you check the revision letter on the pcb).

Lots of money these days, check sold rev c rectos on reverb.

If it’s been unused for 30 years I wouldn’t turn it on, those filter caps may be dried out from so long being unused.

Headshell not original? Looks newer.
with the big logo its not a rev C unless it was added later-the logo and serial number dont match

You can list it here after 50 posts! Welcome to the forum. Tell us about your drumset, some of us play drums!

Hi, thanks for the help and the welcome. I don't think the rectifier was ever modified, so I will have to research the logo/serial number thing, thank you. I play a Yamaha maple hybrid live with a 70's Slingerland snare.

Sorry, I was responding to the previous post that asked about what kind of drumset I played.
Didn't mean to confuse

All good

What the heck? Is this the Dinesh dude? Ikes.
None other than the man himself!

Although I wouldn't write off Mesa stuff just because Gibson doesn't know shit about marketing high gain amps. Would you think a top of the line Ferrari sucks just because some asshole decided to film themselves driving one off a cliff?

Oh of course not  and I was half kidding. I know he did the 2c+ri and what a fiasco that was. The other Recto RI clips I've heard are much better.

Lol yeah Dinesh's demos are rough for sure. I have no idea how Gibson gave him the whole marketing campaign for both amps.

Unbelievable.

Maybe Gibson should go hire Al Capone to do their finances and the Joker to do their HR work life balance and mental health seminars too.

Yeah. Like Marshall, they have completely lost their minds.

Maybe we all see it as just basic blocking and tackling 101 because we are guitar nerds, but man you wouldn't think it would be this difficult for these guys.
