Mesa Boogie Horiz. 2x12 sounds tiny?

Things are so subjective. Really, if this cab doesn't have enough low end for you then no Mesa 2x12 will. Time for a 4x12, or a Thiele, or a front ported widebody 1x12, depending on what you're playing and how loud you need to be.

It is the standard rectifier cab. Massive certainly isn't and adjective I would use to describe this cab. The only thing I can think is maybe there is something wrong with the speakers? I actually rewired it using a mono input to see if possibly the parallel jack was the culprit. It was the same result. Again, it's not a bad tone it just doesn't have much bass response. That is with an electra dyne which has a ton of low end.
So when you had the Bogner 2x12 was it set up just like you have it now? Nothing else changed? And is it a new cab - ie not broken in? Have you tried putting the 212 up on top of the ElectraDyne to see what that is like?
