Wow, looks great. Mesa sure knows how to talk up an amp, that's for sure.

They build them up TOO much imo...............................

"harmonics that leap to the surface as if chased by a predator."

"punishing both the engineers and patrons of our favorite haunts to hit that place where we could ride the wave of high volume"

"You've just sailed off the edge of the map… and into a New World of Power Expression"

Yeah, maybe they go a bit "overboard" lol...

Mesa has always loved to suck it's weener.

I noticed that they list that the clips were done with a 100w head into an Electra Dyne 2x12, and those clips didn't sound like V30s.

New cab series?

The ED cabs have been around, there's just many of them around since they are special order. They come with V30's or MC90's.

Not all Mesa's are made the same.

I'm telling ya, bring a boost pedal with you and try this thing out, but turn it up a little. Most underrated amp out there IMHO.

Cool, looking forward to hearing clips. But not from the Greg Brady looking dude Mesa uses.

I originally called bullshit when I heard about it but damn it, now I'm interested. cool idea for sure. I hope it SOUNDS better than the TA.. i hated the way that amp sounded.

C'mon guys. Those dirty vid's sounded like complete wet ass. Ill-defined fuzzy mess. Looks like they just expanded an electradyne but doesn't sound nearly as good. Now if they could put that soak feature on a LSS, that would be the shit.

Definitely wouldn't mind hearing what a good modder could do to a Stiletto. Not just gain but reshaping it with some real balls in the low end.

Could be. I'm wondering if there's more to it. Mesa recently added three new Fillmore (Mesa's in-house built speaker brand) speakers to their product list, the FM-100, Neo-100 and Vintage Alnico 100. They also haven't listed what speakers are in the TA-30 or Royal Atlantic combo and unless I'm hearing things a couple of those clips had a vintage cone breakup to the speaker tone.

Thoughts?

Welp. That sounds just about like the perfect amp to me.

Completely disagree with the above post. Amp sounds fantastic.

Is this another Mesa attempt at a Marshall? I thought the Electrodyne was supposed to be that and before that the Stiletto...

The way Mesa mentions Liverpool I bet more of a Vox maybe than Marshall. There's nothing Marshall about those clips. Unless of course Marshall via Petaluma CA is wet ass.

I think it's an Electra Dyne with an independent EQ for the clean channel and the ability to dial in each mode's volume separately.

The built in attenuator with the ability to set different levels of attenuation on each channel is kind of cool.

I wonder why they did away with the simul-class power amp?

I think too many people misinterpreted the instructions on the Mark V and blew tubes, screen resistors, trannies and everything else. When they first came with the V, it had specific instructions not to use a mix of tubes.

I personally want my Mesa's to sound like Mesa's and my Marshalls to sound like Marshalls.

The Electra Dyne really doesn't sound Marshall to me. What does a Marshall sound like anymore because i played a bunch the other day and they ranged from shit....to crap.  These were typical findings at a Guitar Center though.

Anyway, the Dyne is kinda like a cross between a Marshall/Hiwatt with some Orange thrown in. It doesn't have a lot of gain but it takes pedals like a champ and it simply roars when you turn it up. Long time Mesa haters like RandyVanSykes and forum board member Thump are getting along great with their Dynes. I'm liking it as well, and i got mine for 900 bucks.

It this so? I'd not heard this. Interesting...

the only real way to know if its supposed to replace the stiletto is if andy timmons starts using them in their place with his live rig...

Looks like another cool amp with cool features. The clean clip on the site was really nice, but I thought some of the dirty clips were just meh... But I'd love to try one. I was really impressed with the Electra-Dyne and the Stiletto Stage II so I have high hopes for this one too. I still want to pick up a Stage 1 Stiletto for cheap and see if Friedman can do a BE mod on it! That would
Have you asked him if he can do it? That would be most interesting, indeed.
I can't find a schematic anywhere for the Stiletto. Dave said he could do something with it but he needs a schem. I'm sure one will pop up online somewhere. I want me some brown eye mesa style!

I went through a Mesa era and had many of their models.
They're good reliable amps.
The product manuals I miss most though, choice takin' a dump reading material.
Bummer though after you pliug in and play expecting
the life changing moments, the burning bush, sword held high on the mountain top,
licks made of lighting, crunch of the gods demons and horrendous pops when you switch channels to go away.
