Yeah a friend of mine has a music store and got a Mark V combo in on trade that he's having a hard time moving so I've borrowed it for the weekend to try out and if a want to buy it. It's a fairly good deal on it but I'd like to make it into a head. The combo feels like it weighs a ton.

Mesa has always been a rip on hardware. See how much it costs you just to get different color telex or grill cloth. Plus the suddenly amazing wait time you'll experience as well. These days people like avatar etc can give you so many options at little to no uncharge and no crazy delay. Would I love a Mesa cab in red with a vintage style grill? You bet, but I'm sure not paying them what they would charge to do it. And I don't want to wait a year for it.
