Hey dudes,
I’ve had this for a while now, super happy with how it turned.
I’m sure some of you have seen my demos of the MGL 50 and 20 watt amps. I told Mark when I get an amp from him, I wanted a 100 watt amp. So after talking back and forth and putting feelers out and seeing that players wanted a 100 watts, Mark added it to the line.
Long story short, I’m stoked. It does classic to hi gain stuff, has a great greasy feel, fx loop, saturation switch, great tones.
Evan Cantor from Bedrock Amps is on board building these.
Hit up Mark at www.mglampworks.com
He can answer any technical specific questions, I’m not good at that stuff!

I was always a 100 watt guy. I got his 50 and i dont miss the extra wattage. It has all the headroom i need and the volume gets as loud as my last 100 watt amp did. All while sounding badass

Yeah, I’ve always been a 109 watt guy. The punch and clarity is what I love about them. Glad you’re digging the 50, killer amp too.

Yeah. Punch is kick ass with more wattage for sure. Maybe we can get him to make a 200 watt power amp..

Yeah, I watched it before, but had to listen again, when you posted this.

FANTASTIC SOUNDING AMP.

Although I have to admit, I kept waiting for a "Name That Lick" riff quiz. :ROFLMAO:

These MGL's are the best sounding "boutique" amps I've heard on these boards. Lots of great builders on this forum, lots of choices out there, but these really have that "it" factor. So true to the Marshall flavor.

Wow, thank you! 🤘👏 Nothing has more of that Marshall flavor than 10 real mustard caps in these new 100’s!

Yes! Marshall flavor all the way. I had it at rehearsal last night and it sounded and felt great. Taking it on it’s maiden voyage tonight for the first of 3 shows in a row.

Gotta say, it does sound really good. Does the clean channel break up into good crunchiness if you crank it up?

The clean channel will break up some with gain turned up. Another option is that we can offer it with 2 dirty channels. Amps are built to order so each customer has some options.
