The Helios is a 50w. It's was actually quite the surprise amp to me. I only bought it because I got a good deal from a local guy on CL, but it's pretty killer. I haven't played any other versions of the Helios, so can't say how it compares.

Sounds brutal. I really want to get my hands on a mark IV and do a proper recording shootout vs my iic++. From the sounds of it the IV may be a better fit for me. Didn’t like the jp2c or mark V at all. Don’t know about the VII.

I'd take a IV over any other Mark series I've played (which is all of them except the Mark 1)

Some of us Houston folk might want to attend. Keep us in the loop! Only relatively rare amp I could bring would be my Pittbull 50 as it looks like y’all have Mark IVs covered.

Wouldnt mind mixing a slo in there. I hear the mezza is kinda a mix. I almost bought one when they came out. Vox sounds cool too
