Since my last post was deleted for some reason.
Sean wants to give the employees an extra buck an hour. I mean, come on man, it's only $1. Is it going to make you bankrupt to just give someone an extra dollar? Why are business owners so stingy? Can't they spare a dollar the greedy bastards?
I think I am going to give all 5 of my employees an extra dollar an hour! To those of us who have a clue what an extra dollar an hour means, that $1 an hour raise means a $10,400 hit to my overhead! Hello? What about a business with 25 employees? All of a sudden, with no increase in their skills or education, no increase in their DESIRE to work hard or get ahead, no increased benefits or work output for the business owner whatsoever, his payroll just went up $52,000 a year. That is straight out of his bottom line. The minimum wage worker gets screwed too because the price of everything will go up for them everywhere they shop. What happened to the it's
just a dollar?
