Mod/ Admin Assistance

Tell you what, nobody could accuse the mods here of not being transparent.

I can say without a doubt that in all the forums I'm active in they fall hopelessly-short of this "new bar".

Hopefully you guys appreciate it.
 
Just on that subject, this study I spoke of, it should be said that it's located about 1000 feet above where the proletariate frequents.

All we see is ants from up here in our ivory tower. Thankfully we care about all creatures great-and-small. :LOL:

Yes, but I assumed you'd PM'd or emailed him... or something; I had no way of knowing what had happened.

Sans any communication about it, we all took it on face value - that the OP's post was somehow duplicated into the mod lobby. Even the time stamps on it were identical with, again AFAICT, no indication that anyone else was involved.

Anywho, it's pretty-funny overall. I just feel bad for poor ol' Matt. He must be wonderin' what sort of a shithole we're running here. :LOL:

OK, OK, I'll tell Matt right now: It's not just any run-of-the-mill shithole mate; it's a mega shithole. :cheers2:

Click on the actions at the top of the thread. (The 3 dots and arrow down …^, sorry my keyboard only has arrow up)Select move. Not sure of what happened-click actions again and click mod actions I believe. It will show everything.

Thing is, without access to the moderators' log that admin found the answer in, there's no way for us to know what your actions were.

IOW, we can see, just like anyone else, your likes and posts on your member page in "Latest Activity" and posts in "Postings", but mod actions aren't recorded there - only in the moderators' log.

Just to make sure we’re on the same page. Click mod actions… then it will generate the list.

I'm speaking of the "Moderator actions" option in the menu. Nicky said he didn't see it but you seem to see it alright Steve. Just want to make sure he hasn't some kind of rights missing that I can fix for him.

I moderated at a different type of forum many years ago if you can actually believe someone would put me in charge of anything more complex than a push mower. It's basically like sitting at the helm of the starship enterprise when you log in. I would imagine that an admin account would be pretty much like being God. See :28 seconds
