most effortless easy playing guitar you have ever played?

The first Charvel I laid hands on back in the 80's, followed shortly thereafter by an Ibanez RG550 around the same time.

I put together a Warmoth strat about 15 years ago with a one-piece ebony neck. Ken Warmoth had a few old jet black ebony bolts left in his stash back then. I had Paul Munden (top repair guy in the Quad Cities at the time) do a fret level/crown/polish on the neck before I even mounted it on the body. The combination of amazing frets with ebony at every skin contact was unreal. I had offers to buy that thing from everyone that played it. Zero playing resistance anywhere on the neck. Literally like playing air guitar.

My Heritage H535 that was sent straight from factory to Glaser's shop in Nashville for a Plek/refret (it was a one-off trial back when Plek machines were new). Strange that it has the thinnest nut width of all my guitars yet also has the widest string spacing...but I never flop over the edge of the fretboard. Also is my best sounding guitar. Very woody tone.

Parker Fly Classic

I sold it though, I can get other guitars to play almost as good but sound better overall. I replaced it with a 1993 PRS ce24

-yup-
-and the closer to the first run the better... Never owned one,..... always thought the price would come down on a guitar so ugly that most people won't even try it, but no, not even the used market ...

My Anderson Bulldog(s) or Classic T shorty. Not only am I in love with the Even Taper neck carve but the short scale necks just feel so "at home" with my hands.

My Performance Corsair...I do have fond memories of an Ibanez RG 550 (?) from 1992 I used to play at a music store I worked at.

I have a Guild Jazz guitar that is so easy to play that I actually don't play it. I know that sounds counter intuitive, but when I play it for a while, I can't play my other guitars.

Really though, I have a few friends that have EMG loaded guitars and use digital gear and that is so much easier to play than using passives and tube amps; night and day.

Suhr moderns when they come out of the box fresh are unreal. I have played some in the store that needed a neck tweak or baught used and they were messed up. I just purchased a limited run suhr modern pro antique and it had crazy low action. Needs almost no neck relief.
Yep. It's the stainless steel frets, imo.

My SC245 was already a monster, but changing the frets to SS made it play like buttah.

An old, probably late 80s or early 90s, used Carvin V that I played at a Guitar Center many years ago. Lowest action I've ever encountered. It was gone before I had the cash for it. I ended up getting a DC125 for myself later which was nice, but not the same.

My white charvel custom shop. After I set it up it has never moved. It’s ridiculous how well it plays and the floyd bounces like crazy. It’s just one of those guitars that comes out perfect. All my guitars play extremely well but there’s just zero effort to play and shape etc on it. My Dad has this old harmony rocket hollow body that is the only guitar I’ve encountered that plays even better if possible.

Three way tie: PRS Custom 24, ESP Horizon FR27 with frets 13-27 scalloped, and Jackson USA RR1. I have a few others that come close but those are the best.

On the other hand, I like guitars to fight back a little bit, too. Like my Gibson Firebird V. It's top heavy (old-school banjo tuners), so I have to keep a good hold on it, or either of my Gibson LPCs. By the nut, they're easy, but get close to the heel, well, everyone knows they're pretty thick. Gotta reach for those last few notes, gotta really WANT them... and that's why I like it that way.

I’ve played a few over the years.
Don’t care for them much. i prefer medium high action so I can bang on a guitar.
I can still rip on them but need to be able to play slide on them as well.

A Tom Anderson Tele I found at Guitar Center was the nicest playing guitar I've ever felt along with a Washburn Custom shop Ola Englund. I finally have my own Anderson coming in, but of the ones I've owned I'd say Edwards LP mainly for rhythm/riffing and my Jackson Custom Shop Soloist.

Oddly enough though, my super cheap BC Rich's both have really awesome playability. They kill pretty much any guitar I've touched when it comes to feel. Non Prestige Ibanez and some Gibson's have been by far the worst I've played.
