Peter "James" Bond. Going deep for this stupid joke.

Honestly?
-Me.

Honorable mentions:
Kevin Parker, Tame Impala
Jay Mascis, Dinosaur Jr
Kurdt’ Cobain, Nirvana

yep

and Joey Jordinson

And whomever that dude Monkey Man is talking about
I had to mention this because you mentioned Joey.
This f’n animal behind the kit here,
does Joey so proper.
Dear God his consistency with that relentless strike ….man nobody hits that hard.
You know he can fight like hell, right??!!👀
I actually have almost been in numerous car accidents driving around town and blasting this song over & over & over ,
-what nearly causes the auto accidents are those blast beats, I just double kick my legs and….,
-GOD DAMN that f’n verse beat/double kick groove after that mind-bending drum solo is
GREASY.
-THAT’S the section where I nearly crash the truck every freakin’ time.
Dayum!!
LTFOL!!!!!!

I gotta give it up for my homeboy
Sal Argento of Rain of Salvation.
Watch the whole set, homie kills it all the way
through to the ends…
I dig the old thrash drummer
“sticks tucked in the butt” trick’aroo’.
HELL YEAH SAL!!!
-listen to those 5150’s!!, especially when that ringing E major chord cascades through the monitors..

I always thought Eric Kretz was easily one of the best drummers of his generation. Don't really hear people praise him too often.

Danny Schuler from Biohazard / Kings Never Die.
Ted Panagopoulous from E.Town Concrete.
Mike Pollaro the new drummer in Fury of Five
Luke Rota from Wisdom In Chains / Stigma

There are quite few KILLER drummers in the HC community.

The only dudes that come to mind as cream of the crop are:

Tim Yeung - Divine Heresy
Aaron Kitcher - Infant Annihilator

he is a total monster but silvera just had something of his own

I haven't listened to him in Korn. I started following Luzier when he played on David Lee Roths solo album years ago. His stuff with KXM. And then Luzier's playing on Army of Anyone is just incredible. In fact that whole Army of Anyone album is one of my favorite albums.

fury of five should have been huge, theres not many records i listened to more than no reason to smile back in the day. Fortheloveof was another from new jersey. up here in CT we had dave from OG hatebreed and Jaime from death threat/hatebreed. there really were a ton back then

I've seen this....dude kills it....

this dude is one of my favorites, dude rips so hard and looks so cool doing it. if i had my choice of drummers he would be right at the top

I thought Frankie Benali was just an OK drummer until I heard him on the WASP records, specifically The Crimson Idol. He was really holding back (or held back) with Quiet Riot! Today is the 2nd anniversary of his death.
