Moving away from pedals to straight into amp

I could probably get by fine with an OD and a wah, but my opinion has shifted the last couple of years, especially playing originals

Having a wobbler and an echo are insanely versatile and nice to have for different colors - it's like having exclamation points, semicolons, italics, and bold at your disposal, as well as caps and lowercase
I quit using wahs when everyone started using them. I haven't found any pedals that really strike me as critical beyond a nice OD box. I've thought about reverb or delay but it doesn't really excite me. I guess I've just come to prefer a mostly straight in tone. You are playing a bit more wide ranging stuff than me so I definitely get it. A part of me wishes I still had my Orbit Flanger but it would almost never get used. Damn it sounded good tho.

My main tone is straight in but with the option of Wah/Vibe/Phaser/Flanger/EQ/SD-1.

So while I like my tone straight in…I do have 3 pedalboards and 2 of them are for a clean amp pedal platform…with looper pedals. Those are for practicing with all the tones and a looper at my feet.
