Man, I really thought these were bad-ass the first-time around..I think I need to get on that list!

Muzic Zoo is a Clusterfuck as a company.

I ordered some shit from them and they sent me someone elses order.
I called and explained, they wouldn't even pay for my expenses to ship it to the right dude.

Did that outta my own pocket.

I would never spend hundreds of $$$ with them.

I'm sure they are nice but for that kind of axe I'd go Luxxtone time and time again.

Here's my original White Music Zoo Charvel Nitro. My #1! Friggin' AWESOME guitar!:

Ive loved Charvels since conception but the volume knob was always in the way of my strumming hand.

My only beef.

those are really bad ass, but I have the luxxtone el machete arriving tomorrow!!!! oh yeah!!!

Eye of the the beholder and all but damn, those are some ugly guitars. Yechhh.

cool guitars, I've had nothing but great results buying from Music Zoo...great service has been my experience.

I love them.

Wouldn't pay what they ask for, but i think 1.5k for a used one is a good deal.

SO overpriced. just buy a warmoth for gods sake. what the hell is in their Kool aid over there? why is a fuckin shitty strat with a humbucker over 2k?
even EVH used parts guitars. fuck these prices. stupid. At least Luxxtone puts some elbow grease into his work.
I dunno, man...

What elbow grease does Luxxtone put into them that the Charvel Custom shop doesn't? I've been to the Charvel Custom shop - the neck shaping, everything really - is done by hand in the USA. That work ain't cheap no matter how you slice it. I've never played a Warmoth that played as nice as a Charvel Custom Shop guitar. You may not want to pay for it, but USA labor is expensive and I fail to see how it is any different than what Luxxtone is doing.

I got mine used for a great deal, but I also pay for new Charvel Custom Shop guitars. They feel better to me than home built parts guitars so to me they are worth it.

I can see how some see it differently, but I prefer to buy from the original guys that put super strats on the map - most of the employees in the custom shop are original Charvel Jackson guys from the 80s who have been high end luthiers forever.

If Warmoth, etc. parts guitars do it for ya, more power to ya, but I prefer the feel and attention to detail of the Charvel Custom Shop guitars and I'm willing to pay for them...

I have owned a few of them in the past. I actually like my USA Pro MOds better. The necks are a little thinner on them (at least compared to te Nitors I had). I think the Nitros are killer guitars though but I think even I would go Luxxtone at this point.

Yeah, you either like those Music Zoo Nitro necks or you don't, but to me they are the ultimate - 21 fret, 1 3/4" nut width and fat. Love playing them...

I'm excited these are coming back, but I'm holding out for something coming from a friend... Hopefully soon...

they are excellent guitars, my only beef with those is the 21 fret necks other than that they are awesome....

That white one is awesome! I love looking at it every time you post a pic. One of the best looking guitars on here...I think! What pickups are in it?
