Found this while cruising You Tube and had never seen it before. Thank God Nuno came along ;)

 
I love this album. This is actually my least favorite song of that album but I love everything from it. The tone nuno gets is amazing

That's one of my favorite songs from that era - I'm just glad Nuno came along. With that line-up, it's kind of painful to listen to (and watch) :D
 
I saw em in san diego in a tiny club in san diego when they first broke.

I freaked out when nuno did flight of the wounded bumble bee.

He can do all that crazy funky riffing and sing at the same time too.

What a talent


He is kind of a douche though.

Total Douche but man can that cat play.. compare his version to the original line up here and it is beyonf laughable. Two guiar players and neither could play a solo in key. Personally, I wouldn't want to hang with Nuno but i'll listen to his leads all day. Has he ever really written a shitty lead??
 
Wow that's bad! Didn't know there was a version of Extreme BEFORE Nuno. Love that first album as well, Teacher's Pet is another fav of mine from that.

I loved the first 2-3 Extreme albums and got to see them also in a small club in SF before they broke big. Opening for them was AIC. They completely blew everyone away.
 
Cherone did a really good Paul Stanley back then, just without the talent or charisma….

That's terrible....never even knew there was a non-Nuno version and my life is not better for having found out... LOL
 
With or without Nuno, they had about half an album of strong material, imo.
 
You guys should have heard the shit that didn't make the first post Nuno Extreme record...Americocaine is the best Extreme song ever and it's never been released in it's final form...the solo would blow you away. Nuno may be the most talented player alive...he's the one guy I wish would do a guitar shred album because it probably wouldn't bore me to death, he's the one guy that I think could pull it off. His previous band to Extreme was called Sinful , and Nuno was playing a 3 single coil strat copy guitar through a Laney AOR head and Ampeg V4 cabs sweeping just like Yngwie...he really can do it all.

I did not know there was even a post-Nuno Extreme? Nuno is probably one of the baddest guitarist out there. Too bad he has not really recorded anything worthwhile after Extreme.
 
I should have worded that differently...after Nuno joined Extreme was what I meant.

+1 on the shred album. You can get Americocaine on the import of Saudades.
