Bit off topic but do you guys know what pedals he was rocking in the later years? Always had a great crunchy tone. I remember watching a clip and feeling like i saw a digitech bad monkey on the floor and thought could this really be?? Some mid 80's vid I saw had him kicking in a DS-1. I guess the common denominator was always Marshall + boost.

I have the Korean version.. sounds good to my ears, not sure if there is that much difference sonically from the Brit version.Marshall Guv'nor. It is hard to go wrong with the classics. I found my bad monkey at the bottom of my pedal bin, gonna give it a whirl tonight for kicks.Oh cool! i've always gotten good results out of a Boss SD-1 or DS-1 too.
