My favorite ESP's

ESP JH-3 and Kelley Hayes. They have to be my all time favorites from ESP, along with my diamond plated ESP Explorer, not pictured.

I bought 4 ESP Standards in January and February and really don't care to play anything else for a long while. I have always been the LTD or import Jackson kinda guy until I bought an 09 Eclipse. After that was a white EX, Paduak brown FX and a Diamond Plated EX. These ESP's make my amps sound so much better. It's like having a built in boost in a guitar.

Very nice stuff. That Kelly hayes eclipse was always a favorite of mine. Would love to find one some day.

Tell me about it. I had a a late 80's white Mirage Custom (jackson style head stock), serial #300 and a white Horizon with a reverse jackson style stock - got that one from 48th Street. Both had the Sinclair/Floyds...best guitars I've ever owned or played. Were my main guitars from the late 80's till early 2000's when I went the Les Paul route. What a moron, a fool I was for selling those guitars. Not once have I played an ESP guitar that played better than those. Had two more early 90's Horizons with the janked up head stock, had two Eclipse's and none were even on the same page as those first two.

Been on the search for an original Horizon for several years now, see them all the time from Japan but most are pretty beat. Almost was able to replace the Mirage but the person had replaced the pups and sinclair. Maybe one day I'll stumble upon them again. The Horizon is the one that really kills me the most though - never regretted letting a piece of gear go as much as that.

Would love to have a JH-2 along with my JH-3 but for the prices these days I'm more than happy with my regular diamond plated ESP Explorer JH-2 clone.
