New guy here...just wanted to chime in and say how surprised I was with an early 90s ESP traditional I got a couple months ago. I absolutely love that guitar.
Also..some of those collections in the thread are insane!!! Very nice

Wow, so many sweet guitars!

I have one Eclipse 1 CTM from 2012 and just bought an Eclipse 1 from 2004 that looks just the same with black satin finish and yellow/orange binding.
Question: is the 2004 eclipse a CTM as well or is it a standard E-1?
I've googled this like crazy. The former owner don't know and it seems all other black E-1 I find has white binding.

Anything about those specific models that you liked better than others?

I just got my first ESP (SS-Horizon-NTii) from Shiny_Surface on here and I was just amazed with how it felt. The neck was a bit thicker than I was used to coming from a Wizard neck but it immediately felt so good. So fast and such low action, plus the Ebony board.

The TOM was the biggest adjustment for me. It took a few solid days of playing to get comfortable with it but it was such a nice feeling and sounding guitar I forced myself to like the TOM.

Anyway it was my first ESP and a lot of "firsts" with this guitar...I would like another one but I am curious of what other models are out there. How the old Mirages compare to more recent ESP's, How the Eii's compare to the SS.

Have really looking at some of the Edwards Horizons which I gather are in between the LTD and SS quality and a little cheaper.

Do you still have that LPC that you did up like Hetfield's? That was one of my favorites of yours, ESP's notwithstanding.
