My friday ... not so cool.

well, no guitar playing for me for about 3 to 6 weeks. pretty bad accident. i will not bore you with details but the primary elements leading to the cause of the wreck were in no particular order. me, my head, my ass and my cell phone add equal parts speeding oblivious 70mph dodge durango and an intersection. i'm lucky to be alive and very thankful to be here. lesson learned no cell phones while driving ... ever again.

me? colar bone is broken into 3 pieces, 2 broken ribs under each shoulder blade, numrous bumps and bruises.

Be thankful that A. You walked away from it, and B. You didn't have any gear in the truck with you.

I'm soooo glad that you came out of that one more or less intact. You are right, that could have been a lot worse.

thanks guys. yea texas has no laws about phones. we are always way behind the rest of the world when it comes to stuff like that. i think we are about to pass a law for no phones 18 years and younger.

no law needed for me ... i learnt my lesson. i find out wednesday when i get my arm out of this sling.
 
yea, thanks. my left shoulder is trippy looking yellow/green/purple this morning. all kinds of little bumps and bruises in weird places i did not realize. deep down sore. emotionally wrecked. i hope you all don't feel this too self - indulgent, i consider you all as freinds and if we all ever met somewhere i would gladly buy lunch and the first round of beer. this has been very hard and any positive help i get is great. my wife, family and freinds have all been beyond great. i'm tired and hurting so it's only natural to turn to those around you for a little extra boost to get you through the day.

Oh shit, just saw this. Glad you're ok man. Hopefully you are taking it easy a few days... it's amazing how many places you hurt after a car wreck. :(
