My friday ... not so cool.

Tommy Ive been away on business in Tokyo for 2 weeks, so I just saw this. SO gald you are OK bro. Hope you have a full and speedy recovery.

Taking something positive from this, it is definitely going to serve as a reminder to me to always use my headset when I drive and should be a reminder to us all. I personally dont always remember or make an effort to do and your story will stick with me.

Take is easy bro and get well soon.
 
Thanks Matt ... yes, you have hit on one of the many reasons I chose to discuss this. I almost took myself out on this one dude, for real. The fact that my stupidity almost took my wife's husband and another son away from my parents is very very hard to face. Not to mention the pain and suffering i have caused to the other driver. She is okay but will need medical attention to return her life to normal. All for the sake of a more convenient phone call that did not really need to happen. I was real lucky. Really think about what you are doing out there on the road. Make whatever adjustment it is you need to do, but keep yourself alive. You do matter to the people in your life.

Once again I sincerely appreciate the good thoughts. I tried to play today, My left hand is a total woos, no strength. Arm stays in the sling for another 3 weeks but I am sticking it out every now and then, trying to get it going again.

I've been on the road the last couple weeks, and just saw this thread! Holy crap man. I am glad you are alive from that wreck! That's friggin crazy. After my uncle got in a wreck by being hit head on by a person on a cell phone, it caused me to go out and buy a bluetooth speakerphone for my car, setup a bunch of speed dials, and such so I can keep both hands and both eyes on the road. I am glad to hear you are doing okay, though. Best of luck, and get well soon!

I appreciate that brother Eric. I am really getting over the hill today, feeling pretty good. Lots more motion and movement. I tell you what though, I can still only sleep about 5 - 6 hours and I have to get OUT of the bed. The only problem is I feel like I been hit by a truck in the morning. Then I remember ... I was! :D

GROAN!
