My Jackson Custom Shop King V came in, what’s you guys opinion

So in April 2021 I ordered a Custom Shop King V from Jackson in platinum pink. I didn’t want to order something that would take them too long to build, but I also wanted something that I would likely not see anyone else have. The store I ordered it from is slowly closing shop as the owner is getting ready to retire. I used to manage the store so he sold me the guitar essentially at cost. I won’t get that deal ever again ?.

Anyway after getting the initial pics from the old boss as it just arrived. I’m wondering if that pink is a little…. off? It doesn’t help that Jackson used used mismatched Dimarzio logo’s on my pickups. I’ll probably change them often, but still. What do you guys think?

That guitar is epic. I'd be annoyed that they put different DiMarzio logos on it but I wouldn't think that would be a deal breaker. Happy New guitar day!

Lol yea the paint guy went a little rogue. I pick it up Sunday. I’ll but I’m going to love this thing. But wanted to get reactions, and know I’m not crazy that that isn’t the usual platinum pink

It’s a pleasant surprise. I thought it look like 80’s bublegum pink but came out even pinker

I'm looking at the different colors to see how pink differs from Fuscia and Magneto and it's very close between all of them .

I think it came out more vibrant than you were expecting is what it sounds like.

Pink isn't my thing, but if I were to go there I'd like the OPs finish more than standard Pink.
