Of course you can do that, Dan. I suggest to get one of the 220x layout by Billy Batz to get the wiring correct.

Cool! Thats fine i have that layout from Billy Batz, i was wondering though if i want to do the Jose mod like that Schematic, would it make life easier if i wired the amp up as a NMV and then added the mod?

When i PM'd Mark Cameron a while ago, he said if i do the Jose mod, just to do the bright channel side of the mod and dont worry about doing the normal channel side of it.

Of course Mark is correct. The normal channel is flubby as hell alone (the mega cathode cap and the 22nF CC), so either you mix some values of the bright and normal (like 10nF CC, 1k8/1µF cath) or just use the bright.

That makes sense! I will end up just doing the bright channel and adding the Jose Master. Thanks Olaf!

I can hook up the Jose circuit without adding the switches too right? so the mod is always on.
