My Renegade seems to have too much hum on the dirty channel

As I said earlier in the the thread it's only on channel two and I'm not using anything external. This amp is basically defective and since calling Egnater equals a voice mail and maybe a call back, I'm sending it back to MF. Now I just have to decide if I want to take a chance on another one being defective or just get my money back and find something else that works and isn't such a gigantic size. It's too bad, because I love my Rebel but I'm not feeling that way so far with the Renegade.

After poking around trying to decide what else I might want to buy I had an aha moment and now am on the case for a Rebel 30 head. It seems to fix the problem of the too big for my taste Renegade and has pretty much all the features I need like reverb. Any Rebel 30 vs Renegade thoughts?
