No box or headphones but mine is the X-100 revision 10 PCB's & had all electrolytics replaced by a guy in Chicago.
I use Bose noise cancel headphones.
I also have a brand new AC adapter that plugs in the side jack.
I use this Rockman all the time anywhere with either batteries or the adapter.
It is still relevant after all these years.

I missed one on FB marketplace less than a year ago for $50. The seller was an hour away so I knda drug my feet. Then I looked at how much they were going for on reverb. By then it was gone...
I had one back in the 80's. Cool piece. Would love to find one for a decent price.

I had a local guy offer me $700.00 for one Rockman Stereo Echo. Another guy offered $550.00 for the Rockman EQ. I've got about a dozen of the modules, no X100's. I don't use them much, but I don't see any reason to sell them either.

I still have my old X100 in the original box, but the headphones are long gone.

The stock headphones sounded like crap, back then everyone used better ones, like the Sony's I have. If I'd known they were going to be worth that much now, I'd have kept them.

It's a great sounding unit.

While I can't stomach the sound of Rockman distortion and compression, the effects boxes are exceptional. Best sounding analog chorus and delay I've ever used. The offset delay lines are really cool. Simulates Roland multi-head Space Echo without the hassle of tape. Not quite the same, but damn good.

The original Rockman was the shit ! I have all the other variants, plus a bunch of the modules, and I think the first Rockman is still the best.

No doubt. The Dunlop ones just lacked 'something' that made the SRD version special.
Gotta assume Sholtz was probably using some expensive circuitry that wasn't gonna
cut it going major mass production.

Has anyone since cloned the original?

Nope and there are no schematics of the original Scholz circuits anywhere on the web.
Thomas has them under wraps.

What I meant was, the original Rockman... not the later variants (still made by Scholz), like the X100, the Ace, Metal Ace, etc... I think they’re all good, but the original ones are just a bit different. I have no experience with the Dunlop ones...

Also, I would LOVE a god damn hyperspace pedal !!!

These things were cool, nice to see one in such good shape.

The Dunlops are 9 volt & crap-o-la. Not even a minutia of semblance to the original circuits.
Original Rockman's are +6v/-6volt TRS DC.
As for the original RM i much prefer the X-100 as it has the barrel jack on the side and not the "rock-adapter".
The adapters are very unique power spec wise and not cheap if you can even find them.

The prices are up on everything. In early 2019 I was seeing Rockmans for cheap... $150 to $200. Now its just nuts,

The Rockman design is well documented in the SR&D patents:

These are the same patent numbers printed on the back on the X100.

X100 schematics themselves can be found using Google:

Not that i need schematics LOL.
50+ years it was bound to happen.
