NAD Bogner Uber Rev blue 2004 + Clips

So here it is didn't have much time to play but it does sound massive and darker sounding than my other amps! Based on the serial and power transformer it was made in March 2004 The problem is that it came loaded with 6l6s while here is says it should run el34. The seller claims he had them changed by his technician so maybe it was designed to run 6l6? Just sent an email - Bogner sales to see...

So I got this email

Hi Sotiris,

Amp was made September 2004 EL34 230V model.
The output transformer in the picture looks like the original Bogner type so I assume it is the EL34 type it came from the factory. It does not matched the impedance of 6L6 type tubes but should not harm anything.

Congrats on the new Bogner !
I owned a Rev blue and sold it to member here.
I liked it but did not like the volume change from high gain to clean.
Plus I wanted a Helios so that's also why I sold it.
They sure sound thick and do drop tuning very wall !

Thx man! Yes so far I get the impression that they rule with it comes to drop tunings

Yeah, with low tunings they own. I’m honestly sweating selling my rev blue to get a new one. One of my favorites in my stable.
