The FX are digital, so the signal has to go through that between the pre and power amp, as if you had a FX processor in the loop. And afaik it’s always going through that unit. It’s in a Rig-Talk thread somewhere where he addressed a bunch of questions like this. I believe the marketing is meant to suggest there’s no amp modeling, at least that’s how I understood it.
