I’ll keep it brief since many other members have posted about theirs. I have no personal relationship with @RedPlated besides discussions on the forum. I got a MOAB mod second hand from a member who is a buddy. I am a modded Marshall guy but previous to this only one amp live up to the idealized sound of the modded Marshall tone—the Landry G3.

I plugged in my MOAB and could not be more pleased. There are a ton of options on this amp and none of them sound bad. All are very usable and sound great. It’s all taste. There is no “keep the amp between 5 and 7 on this setting and don’t use these others because it goes to shit.” There is a compression knob and it can make the amp sound super open/raw or compressed. To clarify, the compressed mode narrows the dynamics but it does not get the “blanket” over the speaker many compressed amps have.

It has every switch I would want. Depth, negative feedback, gain structure and push/pull to shift some of these options. The low gain also provides insanely great usable tones.

I am no longer wanting for the high gain Marshall tone. I have everything I need.

It is, legitimately, the easiest playing amp I’ve ever used. Hyper technical quick string switching riffs fly off seamlessly without any effort. No fighting the amp. My only issue is how I get a second one. Kudos @RedPlated , you beat out a dozen or so high end Marshall modders and makers for the sound and feel. I look forward to when my name comes up on a Hellion and want a custom headshell. Pry it from my cold dead hands.

Just have to say thank you for taking the time to write this NAD post.

One thing you mentioned, and what others have said is important to them, is retaining the fundamental Marshall tone. That's certainly something I strive for while increasing the dynamic range.

Jeremy is good people and he knows how to tune an amp. We strive to do the same thing circuit wise (but do it differently) and are always sending tricks we like back and forth. If anyone wanted a Marshall mod he knows a lot of the subtle details that I know as well. Above all his attention to detail for proper assembly for reliability is key.

These things are the best there is for my taste. Being able to get stock 800 tones/gain levels AND all out saturated tons of gain is a huge win in a single channel amp. Never been happier with a modded marshall and I’ve had some great ones.

Agree that I cant wait to try a Hellion.

Doesn’t hurt that Jeremy is a genuinely good guy and has helped me with numerous issues I’ve had with other amps. Most importantly, he has a great ear and you can’t teach that.

Congrats, curious is this a diode clipping Jose thing or a added tube gain stage ?

Would take one of these MOAB's off someone's hands if you want to let it go. Should of grabbed one a while back but just wasn't in the position. Hit me up and let's deal :)

Without sounding all fan boi, this is the greatest modded Marshall of all time. Done, end of story.
Your clips played a large role in me going after one so thanks for that.

Also agreed with the statement.

+1 to all that
