I ordered this when it was announced. Still trying to learn how to dial it in but so far it's like an Ares with more saturation. The feel is also like the Ares with the feel control on 2 or 3. Not super tight which is cool with me. It's loud AF. Definitely not missing the 5 watt difference from the Ares.

KSR makes so much good shit! Congrats! I have the Ceres pedal and I can't even imagine how the actual amp sounds!

Intresting that you find it not quite as tight , I always thought the KSR were pretty tight maybe not quite VHT tight but much tighter than a Recto
Would you say it have more bounce or chew like a Bogner ?
Also I know we don’t talk about cleans here but how is the clean mode compared to Orthos
Did you go 34 or 6l6 ?

So yeah it has some chew and a bit of squish. I haven't really worked with the clean much but what I did it's a little chimey but not like the thicker fender clean. If that makes sense? Although I didn't really turn many knobs with the clean.
 
Got mine as well and I'm absolutely loving it.

It's alot of amp in a very, very small package. This mf'er is true lunchbox size...it is tiny but weighs around 20 pounds so it doesn't feel like a toy.

This one will send my Orthos 2 packing for sure. If you like the KSR sound I would highly recommend it.

Yeah it definitely kills. A good bit more saturation than I'm used to from KSR. It has the oomph of a 100 watt. Like running it in my 2x12hw still feels like my 100 watt head into a 412
