the only other marshalls ive owned or borrowed and have clocked enough hours to compare are :
TSL100
6100LM 30th anniversary
DSL50
it hasnt got much low end at all even with the oversized cab you can dim the bass controls and its not gonna do the percussive chug.
what it has is the mid range and highs that will no doubt cut. you can max out the gain on this thing as well as the channel volumes and its
very gainy and i would imagine it will do wonders with a boost.
but without a boost its fat and clear without the harshness of the TSL100 and pinch harmonics are easily pulled off with the gain at noon.
id say out of all the amps ive mentioned its closest to the DSL50 but the gain channel is fatter and less compressed that the OD1/OD2
cleans are much better too but not as nice as my previous Laney GH50L.
i really like that it has seperate EQs for the clean and gain channes, seperate reverbs and parallel AND series loop + a DI
the 600 is my 2nd fav (the 30th anniversary being the first)
ill try and get some sound clips up soon.
