Well they are all standard features. The only feature not standard is a separate volume knob for the boost. Not everyone uses the boost as a 3rd channel. Also, it wasn't intended to be a third channel.

There is NOTHING I can't get out of my G3 at this point, especially with some light dirt pedals and the FX8 running on my clean channel. It's just such a versatile build, I"ve never had an amp this alive before. The G3 is the real deal.

Absolutely! I've been playing mine all night tonight and turning knobs and flipping switches and I'm just shaking my head in amazement. One HELL of an amp!

Bumping this thread for some more Landry love. I had the mustard cap upgrade on my G3, and it took the amp to s whole new level. I had another forum member from another board swing by to try out my D'Avanzo guitar, and he rocked the hell out of the Landry. IT was awesome hearing someone ELSE play my amp for a bit, and they certainly had their own story to tell with it

I'm Still recovering from a tendon repair in my left arm, which is beyond frustrating, so not quite playing yet. But that experience just dropped my jaw to hear how someone can go from classic Jeff Beck tone to nailing that classic VH brown sound. . . all in one amp, with a roll of a volume knob.

I know that as tube amp lovers, we are going deeper into a digital age, and there is a place for it. . . Hell, I run my FX8 in front of my Landry all day, but there's something about finding THAT special amp that puts a smile on my face.

So, cheers to Bill Landry.
